How Do You Reignite Passion for Art Within Nigeria and across the African Continent?
Art X Lagos is a new platform designed to deepen Nigeria's connection to the Contemporary Art scene in Africa and the rest of the world.
BACKGROUND
Art has always been at the heart of African cultural expression. However, due to a multiplicity of factors, the once vibrant scene lost its pertinence. In a world where art and science now coexist to reframe our context for living, education plays a major role in reintroducing us to art – Africa’s first love. The nascent Art Fair was designed as a meeting of minds for all stakeholders, reintroducing its commercial viability and reawakening passion for art in the minds of the next generation. Neukleos partnered with Art X to help bring this vision to life.
SOLUTION
We built the Official Art X Lagos event app on android and iOS platforms that aids navigation at the event, provides information, enables scheduling of sessions and provide a guide to the city. We also created a series of Art X Digital Initiatives to feature in subsequent Art X Lagos events.
